Week 10 Recap
Rabbit def. Ed, 145.55-105.24
It was the Jonathan Taylor show (again) for Rabbit, as the Colts RB put up 48.00 points in Berlin. That was the difference-making position for this matchup; while Kimani Vidal (17.23) and Jaylen Waddle (17.20) were both very good for Rabs, they were offset by Rom Odunze (17.47) and George Kittle (17.20) for Ed.
Rob def. Dave, 106.55-103.30
Our Monday night drama this week was almost completely concentrated into this matchup, which had two lead changes in the fourth quarter of the Eagles-Packers game. Ultimately Josh Jacobs (15.80) fumbled on his final carry instead of gaining the necessary yards for a third lead change to happen, so Rob won.
Baker Mayfield (24.65) and Emeka Egbuka (21.33) returned from their bye to lead the victorious side, while the Denver defense (16.00) had the highest score for Dave.
Richie def. Matt, 99.76-92.04
Richie won his third straight game behind Breece Hall (19.90), Alec Pierce (17.20), Travis Etienne, Jr. (14.33), and the New Orleans defense (14.00). Matt got 27.30 from new addition Caleb Williams and 16.27 from old standby Davante Adams, but fell for the eighth straight week - now the longest losing streak in franchise history.
Schertz def. Pulley, 127.87-94.51
Schertz ended his own losing streak thanks to De'Von Achane (36.20), Jameson Williams (21.87), Kyren Williams (20.77), and Nico Collins (20.13). Pulley lost for the second week in a row, with only Seahawks Jaxon Smith-Njigba (18.40) and Jason Myers (16.20) putting up much of a fight. Bye week fill-in Geno Smith (2.85) was especially disappointing for the MondoSquad.
Derrek def. Scott, 107.37-68.07
Derrek pulled off a big upset - in blowout fashion! TreVeyon Henderson (27.10), Ladd McConkey (20.27), and Tez Johnson (17.60) scored five touchdowns between them as D won for the first time since week three. And while D's score was good, Scott helped by putting up a big dud; only Drake London (21.87) hit double digits for him.
Kevin def. Babel, 115.87-75.06
Kevin cruised to his seventh straight victory, with Jahmyr Gibbs (36.20) and Jaxson Dart (27.70) leading the charge. Babel got touchdowns from both Parker Washington (16.00) and Malik Washington (7.60), but was doomed from Thursday night, when Bo Nix scored just 6.80.
Mike R. def. Pat, 93.48-73.89
Mike finally scored less than 130 points, but I'm sure he's happy with the W, regardless. Trey McBride (22.93) and Chris Olave (19.87) were his best players. Sam Darnold (6.20) and Michael Pittman, Jr. (2.53) were big duds for Pat, who took a huge hit to his playoff hopes with the loss.
Trades
Trade between Pulley and Rob
Pulley received:
- Alvin Kamara - from Rob - keeper cost: 2nd
- Jason Myers - from Rob - keeper cost: 9th
Rob received:
- Isiah Pacheco - from Pulley - keeper cost: 3rd
- Blake Grupe - from Pulley - keeper cost: 9th
Rob angrily put Kamara on the block while week nine was still in progress and Pulley (drunkenly?) took him up on the offer.
Rob saw no returns on this in week ten, as Pacheco was on bye and Grupe was dropped. Pulley didn't start Kamara, who scored 12.57, but did play Myers, who scored 16.20. So far, this is a win for Pulley, even if he lost in week ten and Rob won.
Trade between Ed and Matt
Ed received:
- George Kittle - from Matt - keeper cost: 1st
- Lamar Jackson - from Matt - keeper cost: 1st
- Tory Horton - from Matt - keeper cost: 9th
Matt received:
- Caleb Williams - from Ed - keeper cost: 7th
- Brandon Aiyuk - from Ed - keeper cost: 9th
- Javonte Williams - from Ed - keeper cost: 9th
Matt decided to push in some chips for keepers, while Ed needed to fill a Tucker-Kraft-sized hole in his lineup.
Williams (27.30) outscored Jackson (17.90), but Kittle (17.20) had a huge game. This trade's outcome is still pending, arguably into next season, but for now, it doesn't look like either side is losing it.
Trade between Dave and Pat
Dave received:
- Malik Nabers - from Pat - keeper cost: 1st
- Josh Allen - from Pat - keeper cost: 2nd
- David Montgomery - from Pat - keeper cost: 5th
Pat received:
- Ashton Jeanty - from Dave - keeper cost: 1st
- Jayden Daniels - from Dave - keeper cost: 6th
- Michael Pittman, Jr. - from Dave - keeper cost: 8th
Dave had been trying to get a star quarterback for a while and finally put together the right offer to Pat.
Due to this trade, Dave wound up with Allen (20.90), Montgomery (9.10), and D.J. Moore (zero) in his lineup over J.J. McCarthy (16.70), Jeanty (12.40), and Pittman (2.53). That's a net loss, but was still lower than the difference in his matchup this week. So he lost the trade, technically, but it didn't have any consequences.
Pat wound up with Sam Darnold (6.20), Jeanty (12.40), and Pittman (2.53) in his lineup over Allen (20.90), Montgomery (9.10), and Rashid Shaheed (2.40). So Pat also lost the trade without consequences (as he lost by nearly 20 points).

Weekly Awards
Team Blangums
Rabbit's 145.55 earns him his third weekly prize of the year.
Slapped Heartbeat
Scott's 68.07 is his first Slapped Heartbeat this season.
Weekly MVP
Jonathan Taylor (48.00) just missed the fifty point threshold, but he'll still win this award.
Dud of the Week
D.J. Moore did miss some time with injury, but he also dropped a catchable, if not perfect, pass in the end zone. His zero on the week cost Dave a win.
Start of the Week
Richie played Alec Pierce (17.20) over Tyrone Tracy, Jr. (7.10) and won by less than eight points.
Misplay of the Week
Dave started D.J. Moore (zero) over Tre Tucker (4.43) (and Tyler Allgeier (17.70), but that would have been a really bold choice) and lost by less than four.
Blessed Cahoots
Rob's defense, the Texans, scored a meaningless defensive touchdown on the final play of their game when they were already winning. That six points turned a loss into a win.
Pickup of the Week
Richie added Vikings kicker Will Reichard and got 10.20 points.
Pryor Play of the Week
TreVeyon Henderson's 27.10 for Derrek was more than double his previous high score (11.07 in week four) and more than triple seven of his nine games prior to week ten.
D'Ernest D'oh
Ed initially picked up the Jets defense, which scored 21.00, but he got cute and dropped them for Jacksonville, which scored 9.00.
Playoff Scenarios
Rabbit clinches a playoff berth with:
- a win AND losses by two of Scott, Pulley, and Schertz.
Kevin clinches a playoff berth with:
- a win AND a loss by Scott or Schertz.
Week 11 Preview
Game of the Blingaweek
Pralines & Dick (Rabbit, 8-2, 1st) vs. Luck-driven Sideshow (Richie, 6-4, 5th)
Rabbit leads all-time series, 8-5.
- Rabbit still plays: Matt, Dave, Derrek
- Richie still plays: Dave, Schertz, Scott
Rabbit's team is best represented by Jonathan Taylor (bye). The Colts RB has been the top fantasy player this year by far and the main reason Rabs is in first place. But he is on bye this week, along with Tyler Warren, so the rest of Pralines & Dick is going to have to step up. Jaylen Waddle (vs. WAS) has been awesome since Tyreek Hill got hurt and George Pickens (@LV) has been shockingly consistent (in a good way) this year. If Chase Brown (@PIT) and Kimani Vidal (@JAC) can combine to give Rabbit the amount of points Taylor usually gets, he should be just fine this week.
That's because he's facing Richie, who's somehow 6-4 despite having the fewest points in the league. But Brock Bowers (vs. DAL) is back and Kyle Monangai (@MIN) has emerged as a valuable fantasy player. So Richie will go as far as early-season trade acquisition Quentin Johnston (@JAC) takes him.
Pick: Pralines & Dick.
Other Blingamatches
The Chocolate Donuts (Kevin, 8-2, 2nd) vs. Pullman's MondoSquad (Pulley, 5-5, 7th)
Pulley leads all-time series, 15-8.
- Kevin still plays: Mike R., Ed, Dave
- Pulley still plays: Derrek, Scott, Rob
Kevin's team has been driven by Ja'Marr Chase (@PIT); while the first few weeks were touch-and-go, he re-established himself as a top WR. Jahmyr Gibbs (@PHI) is a handy #2 to have, and Rico Dowdle (@ATL) was a great late pick. He likely won't have surprising rookie Jaxson Dart (vs. GB), who's in the concussion protocol, this week, but Jared Goff (@PHI) is a solid backup to have.
Pulley's lived and died with Patrick Mahomes II (@DEN). He started out slow, then got red hot, but has since fallen off a little. A return to MVP form should mean a return to the playoffs for the Pullman. It also helps that he has Amon-Ra St. Brown (@PHI) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (@LAR), too.
Pick: The Chocolate Donuts.
Let him Mind the Gap! (Scott, 5-5, 6th) vs. Bernie's Buillies (Mike R., 4-6, 9th)
Scott leads all-time series, 6-2.
- Scott still plays: Babel, Pulley, Richie
- Mike R. still plays: Kevin, Babel, Matt
For a while, Scott was a force to be reckoned with, but he's had a few duds lately. That sounds a lot like Bijan Robinson (vs. CAR), who's followed the same pattern. Teammate Drake London (vs. CAR) has been booming more than busting lately and CeeDee Lamb (@LV) has been a consistent, if not spectacular, producer when he's been healthy. If the Lamb-Dak Prescott (@LV) connection blows up, Scott could fly back up the contender ranks.
"[A.J. Brown said], 'If you have me on your fantasy team, get rid of me,' like 100% of his FF owners haven't tried already. Also, it's the first time one of my FF players has actually demanded a trade from the Bullies." - Mike R.
That's right, A.J. Brown (vs. DET) is Mike's representative player! Highly-rated a few months ago? Check. Disappointing despite not being outright bad? Check. Willing to rag on his team publicly? Check. Trey McBride (vs. SF) has low-key been amazing lately, and Puka Nacua (vs. SEA) has, of course, been great all year.
Pick: Bernie's Bullies.
Rob for Today (Rob, 7-3, 3rd) vs. The Vistas are Back (Pat, 4-6, 11th)
Rob leads all-time series, 13-3.
- Rob still plays: Schertz, Derrek, Pulley
- Pat still plays: Ed, Matt, Schertz
Rob, our lone 7-3 team, is probably best represented by Saquon Barkley (vs. DET): not as good as he's been in recent years, but still getting the job done and capable of huge weeks. The Baker Mayfield-Emeka Egbuka (both @BUF) connection has contributed to those big weeks, too, and Brandon Aubrey (@LV), as always, is there, too.
Pat's roster and outlook have both had so much turnover that it's hard to select the player that best aligns with his season. How about Keon Coleman (vs. TAM)? Started out hot, but has since really cooled down. Sam Darnold and Rahshid Shaheed (both @LAR) have nowhere to go but up from last week, and Ashton Jeanty (vs. DAL) has a nice matchup, so Pat could be dangerous this week...
Pick: Rob for Today.
Double Digits (Dave, 6-4, 4th) vs. Keep Calm & Stefon (Babel, 3-7, 13th)
Babel leads all-time series, 14-5.
- Dave still plays: Richie, Rabbit, Kevin
- Babel still plays: Scott, Mike R., Ed
Come on, could anyone but Josh Jacobs (@NYG) be Dave's representative player? We all know how much Dave loves watching Jacobs play. Dave is already in playoff position, but probably could hit higher highs, just like Josh Allen (vs. TAM) and Justin Jefferson (vs. CHI). That said, he probably doesn't need to hit highs to defeat...
Babel, who is having the Parker Washington (vs. LAC) of seasons. Is he good? No. Is he interesting, at least? Also no. It's not fun to see Babel scraping the bottom of the barrel, so we'll all be hoping Quinshon Judkins (vs. BAL) enacts revenge on Dave for trading him, and that Luther Burden III (@MIN) has a late-season breakout.
Pick: Double Digits.
Live Commish (Ed, 4-6, 10th) vs. D's Nuts (Derrek, 3-7, 12th)
Derrek leads all-time series, 11-9.
- Ed still plays: Pat, Kevin, Babel
- Derrek still plays: Pulley, Rob, Rabbit
Ed's playoff hopes are on their last legs, but he's got a favorable future schedule. That compares well to Derrick Henry (@CLE), who will pair with teammate Lamar Jackson (@CLE) to decide the commissioner's fate.
While Derrek's best players have obviously been Christian McCaffrey (@ARI) and Justin Herbert (@JAC), his overall team is more like TreVeyon Henderson (vs. NYJ). He had a lot of hope early, but that got torn down pretty brutally... only to explode in week ten.
Pick: Live Commish.
schertzopotamus (Schertz, 5-5, 8th) vs. Harrison Hammers (Matt, 2-8, 14th)
Matt leads all-time series, 12-2.
- Schertz still plays: Rob, Richie, Pat
- Matt still plays: Rabbit, Pat, Mike R.
Schertz has been most like Nico Collins (@TEN): good, but also with a reputation that has outpaced his production this year. The same cannot be said of De'Von Achane (vs. WAS) and Kyren Williams (vs. SEA), and Jameson Williams (@PHI) is coming around, too. If Schertz could solve his QB problems (Jacoby Brisset (vs. SF) has never been a long-term answer for anyone), he could be dangerous come playoff time.
Matt has been most like Bucky Irving (@BUF). He started strong, but has basically been absent since then. Caleb Williams (@MIN) will look to continue his two-week run as an elite fantasy QB, and Davante Adams (vs. SEA) is enjoying a career renaissance on the Rams, but it's all too little for Matt to make the playoffs.
Pick: schertzopotamus.
Closing Thoughts
The trade deadline is week twelve, which means you can trade players up until kickoff of their week twelve games.
